Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also go with everything.
